ABSTRACT: The Impact of Public-Private Partnerships on Vocational Training Outcomes is an essential area of study for understanding how collaborative efforts can enhance the quality and effectiveness of vocational education. This study investigated the influence of public-private partnerships (PPPs) on the outcomes of vocational training programs. The objectives were: to evaluate the effectiveness of PPPs in improving vocational training quality, to assess their impact on student employability and skill acquisition, and to identify best practices for establishing and maintaining successful PPPs. A survey design was employed to collect comprehensive data from a diverse range of stakeholders, facilitating an in-depth analysis of the impacts and benefits. A sample size of 350 respondents, including vocational training students, educators, and industry partners, was selected using a purposive sampling technique to ensure participants with relevant experience and insights were included. The case study focused on the Kaduna State Vocational and Technical Education Board, Kaduna State. Findings revealed that PPPs significantly improved training quality, enhanced student employability, and facilitated the acquisition of industry-relevant skills. It was recommended that vocational institutions should actively seek out and cultivate partnerships with private sector entities, ensure clear communication and shared goals, and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of these partnerships to achieve sustained success.
